“Rita Hayworth gave good face”

Thanks for being here! I am VQ and I’ve been a London Wedding Photographer now for 10 years, but as a former events girl I truly value your experience over stiff and stuffy photos. Get the vibe of your day right and you’ll have the most relaxed and fun day… And your images will reflect that with ease.

I don’t want to be just another wedding supplier at your wedding. My experience in planning and running events naturally makes me want to be your confidant, and someone you can run ideas past. I want to help make your day as stressful free and as special as possible.

I will never ever take you away for hours on end during your drinks or reception. I can’t stand that. It’s your day and you don’t pay all this money and plan all these details to spend it with me for hours.

Your photos need to reflect the originality of your relationship, so my goal is always to create relaxed and timeless memories that reflect that completely.

A few more bits about me:

I am a South East Londoner who loves red wine and early 90’s Madonna songs and speaks like Amy Winehouse! I am a intersectional feminist who passionately believes in equality. I am a big believer that female empowerment will change the world. I am a committed vegan who relapses with cheese on the weekends and some weekdays, but hey! I hate Brexit more than lockdowns. My main camera body is called Mrs Flax after Cher from Mermaids.

I have a son called Wolfin Wild, who like his name sake actually resembles a wild animal (I think I manifested that little and now often I wish I hadn't!) and a daughter called Ostara Rain. She is quickly becoming just like her older brother!! HELP ME.

My favourite food is creamy mushroom pasta from M&S. My top films are, Cry Baby, True Romance, Strictly Ballroom & Dick Tracy and finally…

Things that inspire me:

Autumn, traditional tattoos, art galleries, cheesy action films, true crime, the way rain smells on London pavements, places that sell refill tea & filter coffee, the River Thames, John Waters, Dolly Parton, a chefs face when they watch someone eat what they have created & peoples hands… Oh and hands holding other hands & the way people use their hands… I am all about hands!

Outside of photography:

I am part of the Circle Planner team, a company founded by my best friend Carla Pyke that produces lifestyle planners and goal setters. She came up with the idea because she couldn’t find a planner on the market that met our needs. I work on visuals, presentations and I am the general Circle Planner hype girl. They truly are amazing and I couldn't live without my 3 month goal setter; they help you set and organise your goals and to do lists overs weeks and months and years, as well as for a specific event. The business is now in its fourth year and has gone from strength to strength. Check it out here…
